We called in at the regional park in mid-December, on a beautiful, warm (hot!) afternoon. At this stage, we were planning to buy our motorhome, and were having a look around at places that we might stay.
At this time of the year, the public reserve is always busy with people having picnics and enjoying the beach. But the campground itself was surprisingly empty.
This, surprised us as it was in a stunning location, with views out over the bay, and enclosed by native forest. There are walking tracks, and places to explore if you have bicycles.
This is another location added to our 'must do' list.
