Public toilets
Auckland Council allows freedom camping for self-contained motor caravanners at Algies Bay Carpark. The has easy access to the beach.
Motorhome parking is behind the public toilets where you find the overnight parking sign. Don't use the public carpark adjacent to the toilets. These are smaller, and there is not a lot of turning room, especially if be used by other beach goers.
