Mana Esplanade Carpark is right on the harbour and is is a good place to stop for a driving break before venturing into Wellington
We stumbled across this, thinking we had arrived at the Ngatitoa Domain, which we later discovered was on the other side of the main highway and railway line.
The Ngatitoa Domain allows self-contained motor caravanners to park overnight, and the Esplanade carpark would be just as suitable/. However there were no obvious signs as to whether this is allowed by the Porirua District Council.
