The Waitarere Beach Motor Camp is located on the beachfront, but is mostly used by long-term residents. There is only one powered site available for casual visitors.
It's an old campsite with basic facilities. Most of the site is occupied by small cottages, giving this more the feel of a bach community for it's residents.
