Foxton Beach Holiday Park is a large campsite close to Foxton beach and next to the Manawatu river.
Both powered and non-powered sites are available, and the overall standard of the facilities was very good.
There was a new area being added when we visited, which included new shower and toilet facilities. The large level grass area overlooks the river in the distance.

by far the best camp we have stayed in.
Modern ... clean ....... but at $52 a night for a powered site was a bit on the high side.
The free WIFI and free showers may make up some of the $52
