The Waikanae Park Carpark offers overnight parking for self-contained motor caravanners in a reasonably quiet suburban location.
This is a choice location if travelling with young children as there is a large playground for them to enjoy.
It was a a wet, overcast day when we called in. You'd obviously want to visit on a sunny day for the kids to have a good run around.
