The Te Papa Museum
The Te Papa Museum Carpark also provides overnight parking for self-contained motor caravanners.
Te Papa Museum is a major attraction for Wellington, and you could easily want to spend a couple of days having a good look through it. Being able to stay overnight in the carpark is very convenient, and also provides access to Wellington shopping and other events.
This is also another option for parking overnight while waiting for a morning ferry crossing to the South Island.
Please note that there is an early morning market in the carpark every Sunday, and you should use the North Kumutoto Carpark if planning to park overnight on Saturday.
