Discovery Lodge offers powered sites that have stunning views of the Tongariro National Park mountains.
This looks to be a really nice location for motor caravanners, but a cold drizzling rain had set in at the time we drove past, and we weren't able to stop and have a good look around.
Check their website and let us know what you think if you decide to stay. This is just a placeholder location until we can get back and have a proper look.
