The Tui Brewery is an iconic location where you can book a tour through the brewery, try out their beers or have a coffee in their cafe and bar - hours: Mon-Thurs 10am-4pm; Fri- Sun 10am-5pm. Closed: Easter Fri, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & Anzac Day.
They also cater for self-contained motor caravanners, with a large sealed parking area, drinking water, and a public dump station.
This is a great location to break a long journey, to be entertained, and enjoy some excellent local beer.
It was a sunny Sunday afternoon when we arrived, and their were some groups sitting outside, having just finished the last tour for the day. Too late for us unfortunately. But, we stayed for a coffee before heading on back home to Katikati.
