Public toilets
The tiny rural community of Pongaroa has a well designed public dump station with toilets and just a short walk from the hotel and general store.
There is plenty of room for large vans, and you can also fill up with fresh (potable) water.
The dump station was provided as a joint venture between the NZ Motor Caravan Association and the local council.
