Palmerston North Holiday Park is a large campsite, set in a park environment, and within a short walk of a large reserve, gardens, and the river.
We've stayed there on a couple of occassions, mostly because I've had business meetings with a client in Palmy, and they are the only holiday park in town. However, it is a very nice environment, with large mature trees as you come through the entrance, and a plenty of room.
The Palmerston North reserve and rose gardens is just a short walk from the campsite, including a walking track through the forest and along the river.
It's an older campsite, but the facilities are all well maintained. and we've enjoyed both of our stays.
