Tokaanu Bridge Reserve is a large grass reserve with a track to the top of the hill overlooking Lake Taupo and with a view of the Genesis Energy power station.
The reserve extends some distance away from the main road, and backs onto a farm. There was no sign forbidding overnight parking, making this a prime location with a great view, and suitable for even the largest motorhomes or caravans. Of course you have to be self contained.
