Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is just outside the main Taupo town centre and offers an up-market holiday park experience.
There are plenty of interesting activities for children and teens, including petanque, basketball, volleyball, tennis, the usual children's play areas, and large heated swimming pools.
They are also close to the Taupo golf course, and all the usual Taupo lake activities that you can book into.
The facilities are excellent and include a large block for private unisex showers.
The Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is not cheap, but you will get the full resort experience, and enjoy all the bells and whistles for a comfortable and varied camping experience.
