Getting a picture of the Huka Falls
Huka Falls is one of our iconic attractions, featuring a huge volume of irridescent blue foaming water as the Waikato river is driven over the falls.
Unfortunately, motor caravanners can't stay overnight in the car park, which is understandable because this is one of our busiest attractions, and the carpark is usually quite full.
Visiting the falls, including the parking, is completely free. There is also a cafe and gift shop if you want to spend some money. Likewise, there are free public toilets.
