Bulmers Landing is a large reserve along the banks of the Waikato river. In a peaceful, natural environment, this is a great freedom camping location for self-contained motor caravanners.
We could see Bulmers Landing on the other side of the river from Jones Landing, where we stayed overnight. So, we called in next morning to have a look. It is significantly larger than Jones Landing, and is divided into two main areas, with the public toilets inbetween both.
It is also quiet and sheltered, and catches more of the morning sun. However, the toilets were quite old, and not as convenient to access, should you wish to use them.
This is another excellent location to enjoy the mighty Waikato river.
