The Walton-Totara Reserve is roughly halfway along State Highway 27 and reasonably secluded from the road by mature trees.
It's nicely set up with picnic tables, making it a good place to stop for a break, or even for self-contained motor caravanners to park overnight.
There's plenty of room for even the largest vans.
