Te Aroha town is well provided with parking areas where self-contained Motor Caravanners can stay overnight. The Te Aroha Recreation Centre (Boyd Carpark) has also offered it's parking area for this purpose. It is a little further out of the town centre, and is likely to be quite busy over the weekends. Parking is on ashfelt.
We checked it out in mid-winter. There was no one around on a Wednesday afternoon.
