Long Bay Motor Camp is a tradition 'Kiwi style' campsite right on the Long Bay waterfront, with on-grass parking.
It's a well established campsite. However, the buildings and facilities are quite reasonable and clean. You pay 50c for a shower.
The grounds are spacious, and directly overlooking the bay. It's an excellent choice to go fishing, paddle around in a kayak, do some bush walks, or just chill out and read a book.
