The Kuaotunu Campground is located near the beach in the small Kuaotunu community.
The seaside community features a really nice, north-facing sandy beach, and the campsite is just across the road from the beach reserve.
The camp store just provides basic food items, takeaways, and bait for fishing.
The camp facilities were basic but clean, making this a good location for a relaxed 'Kiwi holiday' near a nice beach.
