There is a Park Over Property at 57 Te Punga Rd for motor caravanners. It's not a large area, but does have spectacular views over Whangapoua and the bay.
The owner wasn't at home when we called in, but I talked to him on the phone, and then drove up the steep concrete drive to where he was setting up the parking area.
There were toilets and showers in the process of being built, and power might also be available by the time you read this.
