The Coromandel Top 10 Holiday Park is close to the centre of Coromandel Town, and is a well equipped campsite to use as a base for exploring Coromandel.
The Top 10 Holiday Parks provide an excellent quality, consistent experience. The facilities were all very good, and the powered sites were spacious. It's not the most up-market of the Top 10 Holiday Parks, but it is clean and comfortable.
It's just a short walk into town, where you've got access to shopping, restaurants, and craft galleries. Or, if you enjoy the occassional pub meal, the Coromandel Hotel is just across the road.
There are other 'must see' attractions, like the Driving Creek Railway and Pottery, the Coromandel Gold Stamper Battery, and the Waiau Waterworks, which are all just a short drive away.
