Golden Downs Golf Club is in a rural location just off SH6 south of Nelson. It has spacious ground and also provides for self-contained motor caravanners to play golf and play overnight.
Parking is available on the grass at the north side of clubrooms. It's free to stay if paying green fees. Otherwise a donation into the green fees box please.
You're able to use clubrooms when open, usually on a Sunday. Dogs must be kept on leads.
This is a lovely quiet location, even if you don't play golf.
