Old McDonalds Farm and Holiday Park occupies a large area of farmland where motor caravanners can spread out into multiple areas.
While the facilities are basic, there were clean and tidy when we visited, although there were only a few campers when we visited in early autumn.
The campsite reception is in a temporary shed while the main office and shop are being rebuilt.
Pets are allowed except over the Christmas break from 24th December to 24th January.
Also, there is no dump station onsite, and the nearest one is at the Marchwood PDS in Motueka. So, be sure to come prepared, and use the campsite toilets if you're staying for a while.
