Fitzroy Beach Holiday Park is right next to the beach, with 100 sites and excellent facilities.
The campsite is spacious,and you can park overlooking the beach, Great for long beach walks, and just a short distance from the New Plymouth shopping centre.
The new facilities block was just being finished off when we visited, and looked to be very nice. However, we could only see inside the kitchen.
This would make an excellent base for exploring New Plymouth and Taranaki.
