Parking overlooking the river
Additional parking areas along the entrance driveway
The Meeting of the Waters Reserve has a small parking area overlooking the river where self-contained motor caravanners can park overnight.
It was late afternoon when we arrived, on our way back to New Plymouth. The parking area by the river is not large, but it is otherwise a nice quiet location.
There is a walking track if you're in need of some exercise. We didn't have time to do the walk as it was already starting to get dark.
There is more parking available along the entrance driveway in the bush reserve.
