Parking area behind the hotel
Lake Hawea Hotel is in Hawea town at the southern end of Lake Hawea. The hotel has a restaurant and also offers free overnight parking for self-contained motor caravanners.
We only called in briefly, but it looks to be a good option, with a large sealed parking area, and of course the restaurant if you want to take a break from cooking.
