The Lake Outlet Holiday Park is in a beautiful location on the shore of Lake Wanaka were the Hawea river enters the lake. Spacious and close to the ski fields in winter.
The campsite is huge, as it include an adjacent area that is closed off during the off season. But it is busy over both summer and winter.
The facilities are basic but clean, and some of the powered sites have fantastic views.
There are a number of walking tracks, making this a great location for enthusiastic trampers.
