The carpark at the top of the Crown Range Rd hill has magnificent views over the valley below, and is available for overnight parking in self contained vans.
We thoroughlly enjoyed the view from the top, which had also attracted a number of other visitors, as well as some local paragliders.
However, we didn't really fancy staying overnight as it was quite exposed. But certainly worth the drive up the hair-pin bends to get there.
