Geordie Hill is a large rest area south of Lindis Pass, about half way to Tarras. It's an historic location with a large sign describing the gold rush in Lindis Pass.
With a grass reserve, and level parking, this is a nice place to stop for a break after driving over the pass. You can also stay overnight if self-contained.
