Bayfield Park has a large carpark overlooking the harbour where self-contained motor caravanners can park overnight.
This is a stunning location in the heart of Dunedin city.
The sign at the entrance appears to prohibit motorhomes from freedom camping, but this doesn't apply to certified self-contained motor caravanners. Click here to check out the councils bylaw.
The carpark and reserve is very popular with local residents. Please be considerate if you want to stay over.
