Entrance to Lake Ngatu
Lake Ngatu is a freshwater lake on the way to the Ninety Mile Beach from Waipapakauri. Popular in the summer for swimming, boating and family picnics, it's also a nice location for motor caravanners to roll in and take a break.
Sadly, I don't think overnight parking is allowed, although it would be a great location for that, especially during the Spring and Autumn seasons, when it is not so crowded.
