Havelock town has a well designed public dump station, next to the Allied service station, for motor caravanners to use.
There is potable drinking water available and also a laundry-mat service where you can wash clothes etc.
The service station also sells bottle-swap LPG gas, making this one of the better public dump station for the range of services offered.
Havelock is a nice town, with good cafes, art gallerys, and clean public toilets.
