The Brown River
Brown River Reserve is on the junction of SH 6 and Opouri Rd, which leads a variety of bays on the Marlborough Sounds. It's a great base for self-contained motor caravanners to explore this beautiful area at the top of the South Island.
There is plenty of room for large vans. However, it is subject to flooding during heavy rain.
