There is a DOC campsite at Whatamango Bay which has plenty of room and stunning harbour views.
The facilities are basic, but this is a quiet location, well off the beaten track. There are toilets, and also drinking water on site, but the drinking water should be boiled for at least 3 minutes before consuming.
