Awatere Accommodation also provides park over facilities for motor caravanners. The gateway to Molesworth just south of Blenheim.
The motel was closed in March, 2018, when we called in. Like most other businesses and accommodation providers in the area, they had to close as a result of the Kaikoura earthquake. However, they are now open again, and provide a safe park over for motor caravanners, as well as their normal chalet guests.
While Awatere Accommodation is listed as a park over property, it has all the facilities of a campsite, including kitchen, lounge, showers, and dump station.
This makes it excellent value for staying and exploring the local area.
