Lake alongside the dam
There is a small parking area at the Taylor Dam Reserve when self-contained motor caravanners can park overnight.
It's out in the country, and you can walk to the dam. There were a few cars and a caravan there when we arrived, plus another van parking on the grass at the end of a long driveway.
This is one of only 5 Responsible Camping locations now available in the Marlborough district. There is room for 10 vehicles and you can stay for a max of 2 nights.
