The Riverside Motor Camp is a medium sized campsite within walking distance of the Wairoa town centre.
It is spacious, with plenty of room for large vans, on grass parking, and basic but well maintained facilities.
It looks to be a good location for young families. The river access is fenced off, and young children can run around in a safe environment.
The children's playground is a bit basic though.
The barbeque area features a barbeque set up in the boot of the Cadillac coming out the side of the garage.
