Hawkes Bay Holiday Park is a large campsite just north of Napier and Westshore.
The facilities are very good, and there is a covered walkway connecting them to some of the powered sites . These site are mostly used by the long term residents, but overall appearance is quite up-market, and the long term resident that we chatted with was very enthusiastic about the location.
There is plenty of room for visitors, including on-grass and all-weather powered sites.
The holiday park is in semi-rural environment, with sheep grazing in the paddock next door.
