Entrance to the cycleway.
Pakowai Country Park is a small reserve where self contained motor caravanners can park overnight.
The parking area is quite confined, and would not be suitable for a large van, or when the park is busy in the weekends, or on public holidays. You could easily get trapped and be unable to turn around
It is also quite noisy, being next to a busy road.
The cycleway does go past the reserve, which might be useful if you want to go for a long walk, or are travelling with bikes.
