Richmond Rd Reserve is the most rugged of the Hastings free parking areas. The rough metal carpark jutting into the harbour goes with the rugged coastline.
It had been raining just before we arrived, and the miserable wet weather added to the overall wild atmosphere.
We were looking for somewhere to park overnigth, but it was quite exposed and we decided to move on.
