There is a new public dump station on the corner of Domain Rd and Simpson Lane.
It's close to a beach carpark where you can often see motorhomes parked, looking out over the stunning view of Lake Tekapo. However, freedom camping is not allowed, and your only option is to stay in the holiday park.
