The Ahuriri Bridge DOC Campsite provides a very large on grass parking area alongside the Ahuriri river. Facilities are basic and limited to just a few long drop toilets. The ground is fairly uneven but easy to find somewhere level if you drive around.
It would be a nice location for fishing or just chilling out for a while.
