Sailors Cutting Campsite is a very large budget campsite on the banks of Lake Benmore.
There were lots of campers when we visited in early autumn, but most were in caravans and looked like long term residents.
There is a boat ramp available, and this is a great location for chilling out in a quiet environment by the lake.
There is a registration kiosk at the entry to the campsite, and a resident campground supervisor who you can contact on 027 686-6901.
