Camping by the lake
Parsons Rock Campsite is a large sprawling campsite on the banks of Lake Aviemore. The campsite is divided into two sections on either side of the entrance from the road.
Registration to be paid upon arrival, either in the honesty box at the entrance, or to the camp warden.
There is a boat ramp for accessing the lake. No open fires are permitted, and dogs must be kept on lead at all times.
This is very much a campsite for enjoying the outdoors, fishing and lake activities. The facilities are basic.
It is only open from September to May each year.
