Culverden Domain has a small area set aside for powered site, and some basic facilities in a quiet location set well back from the road.
Run by the Culverden Community Committee, the campsite is provides excellent value for a just $24 per night for a powered site.
Unfortunately, there was noone there when we called - not surprising given that it was in late autumn, and we just contented ourselves with taking some pictures.
If you're planning to stay, you can pick up the keys at Mockett Motors opposite the gate entrance.
