Basic public toilet
Milford Huts is a free parking site near the coast at the mouth of the Opihi river. There is a small long-drop public toilet, and parking is available within the large grass area.
There is a short walk to the beach, which is not really suitable for driving. There is a turning circle, but nowhere suitable to park.
A visiting musician was busy composing a new song while we were there, in a nice sheltered spot.
