Winchester Motorcamp is a basic campsite run by the trust and funded by the local council. It is very spacious and inexpensive. It was also really pretty to drive in through all the deciduous trees in their autumn colours
While the facilities were clean and comfortable, including un-metred showers, the campsite had clearly been there for many years. Everything was well maintained, but the childrens swings certainly showed their age.
It is a large campsite, which would make a great location for a group of friends to meet up. However, I suspect the toilets and showers might get pretty busy if th campsite was full.
