The Winchester Bridge Domain includes a secluded area where self-contained motor caravanners can park for free overnight in a reserve setting amongst mature trees.
There is a public toilet also available for those who might want to make use of it.
We stayed there for one night in mid-autumn. There was one other motor caravanner in the reserve, and it was quiet and peaceful compared with our previous night spent at the Rakia River Bridge.
Autumn is a pretty time to visit. The trees are changing colour, and the temperate was still quite mild. However, be careful of parking on the grass as it can become soft after heavy rain.
