Waikuku Beach Holiday Park is a large campsite just south of Christchurch. Divided into two camping area, it can provide for the largest motorhomes.
There was noone at reception when we called by, but the campsite was almost fully occupied with long-term campers. Typical of many of the Christchurch campsites, they are being used for both displaced families and for migrant workers who have come to help with the rebuild.
Having said that, there are still some empty sites, and it is a nice location within a short walk from the beach.
