The Lookout Carpark at Amberley Beach is a nice location to stop for lunch while looking out over the bay.
We enjoyed stopping there for an hour or so on a sunny afternoon, but were disappointed to see a prominent sign forbidding overnight camping.
The term 'overnight camping' is ambiguous, and it could mean that parking overnight in a self-contained van is ok. Unfortunately, there is a lot of confusion about this as every council has it's own interpretation.
